Former United States President Donald Trump remains committed to speaking at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, despite surviving an assassination attempt on July 13 in Pennsylvania. David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine and one of the event’s organisers, confirmed the news on X.com on Friday, July 14, after speaking directly with Trump’s team. Bailey reported that Trump is "in good spirits" and expressed eagerness to address the conference attendees in Nashville.

Trump had previously confirmed his participation in the conference earlier in the week, prior to the attempted attack. The Bitcoin Conference is scheduled to take place from July 25 through July 27, with Trump scheduled to deliver his speech on July 27. Bailey emphasised Trump's enthusiasm to deliver a speech that he believes will have a global impact, underscoring the former president's ongoing engagement with the crypto community despite recent events.
