BITCOIN MIGHT SMATH THE $25K MARK IN THE NEXT 48 HOURS

The crypto markets are experiencing a massive surge, pulling the global market capitalization back from the brink of falling below $1 trillion and surpassing a rebound of $1.12 trillion. Bitcoin's price has skyrocketed by over 10% since the early trading hours, hitting levels above $24,600 for the first time since August 2022. This impressive rally can be attributed to a variety of factors, some of which are outlined below.

The hash rate, which represents the network's processing power used to verify transactions and create new tokens through "mining", is on track to reach an all-time high (ATH). The surge in the hash rate suggests that an increasing number of nodes are competing to authenticate transactions, resulting in a more decentralized network with reduced chances of security breaches.

Bitcoin shorts have been working hard to keep the price from surpassing $22,000 in the past few days. But a huge surge was observed, with one of the key reasons being substantial short liquidations worth over $78 million from the previous trading day. This caused BTC price to spike by over 12% within just a few hours.

The DXY Index is a gauge of the US dollar's value. In early February, the index reached its peak at around the same time that Bitcoin's price was stuck in a consolidation phase below $22,000. However, as the index was rejected after hitting a temporary high of $104, the price of Bitcoin surged and exceeded $24,900.

Looking ahead, Bitcoin is expected to hit new record highs in 2024, and there is even a chance it could break through the $25,000 mark at any moment. The price is edging closer to breaking through the crucial 200-day weekly moving average, and once that hurdle is cleared, Bitcoin is poised to resume its upward trajectory and aim for even higher targets.

Let's See What Happens...

THE RISE OF THE BITCOIN MAXIMALIST. HOW TO IDENTIFY ONE

Bitcoin maximalists are the die-hard fans of the cryptocurrency world - they believe that Bitcoin is the king of the castle and that all other cryptocurrencies are just pretenders to the throne. They're like the frenzied fanbase of a rockstar, convinced that their favorite is the greatest and all other bands are just wannabes. But in this case, Bitcoin is the rockstar, and all other cryptocurrencies are the opening acts that just can't measure up!

Bitcoin maximalists see their favorite cryptocurrency as the true embodiment of decentralization, immutability, and scarcity - the three core tenets of digital currency. They're convinced that Bitcoin is the only digital asset that can be truly called "digital gold" and that it will eventually replace fiat currency as the world's reserve currency.

To them, all other cryptocurrencies are just copycats trying to imitate Bitcoin's success. They see altcoins as mere distractions, and their devotion to Bitcoin is unshakable. Bitcoin maximalists are so convinced of their belief that they can come across as dogmatic or even cultish. But hey, if you truly believe that your favorite cryptocurrency is the greatest thing since sliced bread, who can blame you for being a little bit fanatic?

STANDIN' ON YOUR MAMA'S PORCH... THE SUMMER OF BITCOIN

The Summer of Bitcoin is a 12-week online summer internship program that aims to teach college students about Bitcoin protocol development and design through open-source projects. The program is run by Saylor Academy, a non-profit organization that provides free online courses to anyone with internet access.

The internship is open to students from all majors and backgrounds, as long as they have a strong interest in Bitcoin and are willing to learn. Interns will be paired with experienced mentors who will guide them through the program and help them develop their skills.

In addition to the mentorship, the internship provides a salary of $3,000 in Bitcoin. This is not only an opportunity for students to learn about Bitcoin but also a way to earn some money during the summer.

The program is now in its third year and has already helped many students learn about Bitcoin and pursue careers in the field. The Summer of Bitcoin not only provides valuable experience but also helps contribute to the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem.

The name of the program, "Summer of Bitcoin," is a play on words that references the concept of "crypto winter." While the term crypto winter is used to describe the market downturn that began in 2018 and lasted until late 2021, the name Summer of Bitcoin refers to the timeframe of the program. The program is held during the summer months, which is why it's called the Summer of Bitcoin.

Interesting, right?
